Through this initiative a helping hand is extended to our immediate environment in real, tangible and practical ways, serving our neighbours with no strings attached.

The main areas of operation include the following:
  • Befriending the elderly
  • Assisting the disabled and disadvantaged
  • Care for the young
  • A voice for the voiceless
  • Fresh start for the less privileged and late starters, etc.
  • Provide help to refugees
  • Assistance to war torn countries

Rhema Business Innovation Club (RBIC)

In fulfilment of its vision- Agape Incorporated, The Torchbearers Worldwide Ministry (TBWM) under its Community Initiative has launched The Rhema Business Innovation Club.

The initial operational areas were geared towards community befriending schemes for the elderly, assisting the disabled and the disadvantaged and care for the young.

TBWM has now extended this ‘hand of help’ to all aspiring business entrepreneurs in the church and the community. Access to this service is free with the view that all who benefit from the scheme will go on in the future to support the scheme.

Aims and Objectives of RBIC

The aims and objectives of RBIC are as follows:
  • To identify potential and aspiring local business entrepreneurs and help such individuals develop their business ideas from conception to the final launch of the business.
  • To help individuals with potential business ideas access funding from government assisted agencies that provide such funding to help individual local businesses extend their operation into more profitable avenues (consultation and advice).
Values of RBIC Our values can be summarised as follows:
  • To raise the business profile of the aspiring business entrepreneurs in the church and the community.
  • To encourage business innovation and creativity in the church with the view of creating employment opportunities for the community as a whole.
  • To create avenues in the area of business enterprise whereby the church will be able to engage the community.
Service features of RBIC We aim to provide a complete business advice and consultation package which will include the following:
  • Development of business ideas for aspiring business entrepreneurs
  • Business plan writing
  • Financial Management and Accounting for new Businesses
  • Access to Funding
  • Seminars on Time Management, Business Skills, Interview Skills, Negotiation Skills etc.
  • IT skills for business entrepreneurs

Aspiring Entrepreneurs

We are interested in helping individuals within the church and the community who have potential business ideas but are having difficulties setting up their business enterprise for whatever reasons.
These individuals will have to show a high degree of commitment to the business ideas that they have, to ensure that the help they get from the scheme will be utilised effectively to bring into reality the concept of the business ideas they have.
